Arena di Verona
Holy Week and the Pope's visit
Religious holidays in Italy are often the occasion for larger events. Holy Week in particular, with the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Christ, is one of the most important days in the Catholic Church. To mark this occasion, the Via Crucis, or Stations of the Cross, was staged in the Arena di Verona with the title "Justice and Peace". The Pope visited shortly afterwards.
A total of 24x K.M.E. QL 906 with 4x K.M.E. QLB 118 distributed over 4 stacks were used to provide sound for the Stations of the Cross performance. The excellent, homogeneous sound distribution for the 5,000 spectators received particular praise. Many thanks to E. Mazzi and his team from MeQuadro Show Service for the successful performance.
