A legendary Franconian beer festival featuring a vibrant lineup of events
A large festival tent (70 × 20 m) with a classic beer festival atmosphere and the longest bar in the Aischgrund region. Three varied event days: a lively opening night with the traditional keg tapping on Friday, an energetic party night on Saturday, and a relaxed family day on Sunday. The program appealed to a broad audience - from traditional festival tent music to party and après-ski bands, all the way to a laid-back family finale. With around 1,500 guests per event, the tent was consistently sold out.
To ensure even and powerful sound coverage, a high-performance setup was used: a front-of-house line-array (PANO, 2 × 6 QL 906), delay systems at 35 m (2 × QF 5045 V2) and a cardioid bass array with 4 stacks of 2 GB 218. The result: powerful, consistent sound throughout the entire length of the tent.

Line Source Element QL 906 90° x 6°
The 2-way line source unit QL 906 is equipped with two 1“ drivers coupled to a waveformer and two 8“ neodymium speakers combined with outstanding AQF acoustic filters. This filters, compounds of reticulated aminoplastic foams, dampen standing waves inside the speaker system and cancel parasetical side-lobars within the working direction, creating a wide while smooth horizontal dispersion and a perfect vertical scalability.
High Power Subwoofer GB 218
Passive high power subwoofer equipped with two newly 18" long excursion neodymium speakers. The direct radiating design assures a extraordinary powerful and precise bass response at highest SPL down to the frequency limit of 25 Hz. Its bassreflex design has been optimized to minimize the flow noise. Due to the very low frequency tuning, the sound impression is voluminous but precise and responsive. The GB 218 is characterized by compact enclosure dimensions.
Powersoft Touring Powersoft T904A (4x 2000 W)
The T Series is a flexible and cost effective amplifier platform loudspeaker processor. The model delivers high peak voltage allowing high SPL with single 8/16 ohm cabinets. The high voltage is also good for sharing power between the channels for applications such as bi-amped loudspeakers or subwoofers with passive tops.
Simulation EASE Focus 3
EASE Focus 3 is a 3D simulation software for the configuration and design of K.M.E. line array systems and subwoofer arrays from the Galo and Pano series. The software includes a loudspeaker library and is freely available for K.M.E. users and can be downloaded in the download area.
