Open Air Concert for Children with VLS 64

As part of the Kirchentag 2018 in Wetzikon (CH), various events took place on the fairground on the day of the meeting. The mobile outdoor stage was equipped with an extremely compact sound system consisting of two flown VLS 64 column loudspeakers and two QLB 215 subwoofers. Due to the high directivity and the vertical asymmetrical dispersion of the VLS 64, a uniform sound in the near field as well as 25 meters away was achieved. The children's concert with Andrew Bond was a great success with about 400 parents and children.

The flight hardware can be mounted on the speaker without tools with thumb screws. For vertical alignment a hole pattern is available. The flight hardware allows suspension on ropes or direct truss mounting with a clamp. Included is a shackle with split pin and an adapter for M10 mini TV cones.
The hardware is also compatible with ILS 64, ICS 5 and ICS 4.
QLB 215
The high power, universal bass system QLB 215 with exceptional sound quality comes with optimized transport dimensions for truck and transporter. Inside, two newly developed 15“ long excursion speakers work in a hybrid arrangement ensuring small dimensions remaining low cutoff frequency and minimizes airflow noise especially at low frequencies. The QLB 215 can be used together with either Line Array systems or other top units. Using suitable amplifiers (i.e. DA 230) the customer can construct directional bass arrays with more units. Two Speakon sockets on the back side and one socket in the front grid ensure easy cabling for all chosen using modes. An option for wheel mounting is also available on the back side.
